Significance of Ekadashi Vrat
Ekadashi is the eleventh lunar day of each of the two lunar phases. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it is considered the most spiritually potent day for fasting. It is believed that observing Ekadashi purifies the mind, body, and soul, helping devotees achieve spiritual growth and divine grace.
There are 24 Ekadashis in a year, each with its unique significance and mythological story. To complete the fast, it is essential to observe 'Parana' (breaking the fast) during the designated window on the following day, Dwadashi, according to Vedic rules.
