Purnima, the Full Moon day, symbolizes completeness, abundance, and the peak of lunar energy. In Vedic tradition, it holds immense spiritual significance and is dedicated to Lord Satyanarayana, Goddess Lakshmi, and the Moon God.
Major festivals like Guru Purnima and Buddha Purnima fall on this day. Performing Satyanarayana Puja, taking holy baths in sacred rivers, and offering charity on this day are believed to bring spiritual merit and blessings from ancestors.
