Suryadi Navagraha Shanti Vidhi
Vedic and Tantric rituals for propitiating the Nine Planets for peace and prosperity.
When performing Shanti (propitiation) for the Sun and other Navagrahas, one must perform Japa (chanting), Havana (fire ritual), Tarpana (libation), Marjana (holy water sprinkling), and Brahmana Bhojana (feeding Brahmins). All five limbs must be completed for total peace. The ratio should be: one-tenth of Japa for Havana, one-tenth of Havana for Tarpana, one-tenth of Tarpana for Marjana, and one-tenth of Marjana for Brahmana Bhojana.
Sankalpa (Resolution)
Hari Om Tat Sat... On this day, for the removal of all present and future malefic effects indicated by the planet (Name of the Planet) situated in (House/Position) from the birth Ascendant or through its Mahadasha/Antardasha, and for the attainment of auspicious results, I resolve to perform Japa, Havana, Tarpana, Marjana, and Brahmana Bhojana with the prescribed mantra to please the planet.

I donate (Item to be donated) to the Brahmin (Name of Brahmin) of (Gotra Name) for the propitiation of (Name of Planet). Let this be not mine (Idam na mama). After the donation, a Dan-Pratishtha ritual should also be performed.
